Treat yourself to some time in front of the big screen with other Parents & Bubs. Cinemas are lightly lit so you can see the action and keep an eye on the little ones. Where: Alison Avenue, Marion Not a bad little backstreet playground this one, which is a good spot for the locals and if you happen to be in the area and the kids need to run off some steam. It has a picnic chair, table and some lovely grassed space which was really nice on the sunny day we visited. Plenty of shade from the trees and the playground has a good variety of equipment to cater for the under 10s mainly. With a nice big twirly slide, swings, lots of monkey bars and other climbing sets to muck around on. The flying fox was a hit with our crew too as was the purple climbing thingy which we couldn't settle on a name for...but it was fun! No toilets, no water fountains, no BBQs sadly, but parking is not an issue here. It isn't fenced either but it is set quite a way off the road so safety wise it isn't much of an issue there either.
