It’s a free family frenzy with Play in the Plaza!
To celebrate the opening of the much anticipated Festival Plaza and the exciting new Children’s Artspace at Adelaide Festival Centre, Families at Adelaide Festival Centre is celebrating with a long weekend full of free activities, workshops, roving entertainment and food for the whole family to enjoy.
Kicking off from 10am on Saturday 12 through to Monday 14 March, let’s play!

Family Day includes Adelaide’s first ever Kidtrepreneurs Market. With many young movers and shakers creating, branding, and selling their wares, what better opportunity to provide a welcoming platform for local Kidtrepreneurs to sell their creations to the community.

A reimagining of beloved Adelaide Festival Centre program Something on Saturday, Families at Adelaide Festival Centre carries on the tradition of bringing free and low-cost, accessible options for South Australian families to engage with the arts.
In 2022, Families at Adelaide Festival Centre will present performances, interactive experiences, and workshops to complement Adelaide Festival Centre’s festivals, exhibitions, and shows.
