The Stansbury Seaside Markets was the first of its kind on Yorke Peninsula and still offers a unique country style market along the picturesque Stansbury foreshore. The colourful stalls beneath magnificent Moreton Bay Fig Trees are certainly something to be seen and experienced.
With free admission and a great range of stalls to suit all ages, the Stansbury Seaside Market makes for a fun family day out
The market always has a wide range of nibbles and drinks to excite your taste buds, including local produce & preserves, home-made pastries and cakes, fresh bread, nuts, dips, dukkahs, sauces, spices olives, wine, coffee, confectionery and plenty of other hot and cold food and drinks on offer.
And of course there are also a wide variety of other things to see and buy, including gifts, artwork, fishing equipment, crafts, pet products, leather goods, books & DVDs, jewellery, clothing & fashion accessories, plants & flowers, toys, lucky dips, face painting…
The markets run from October long weekend through to April the following year – approximately once a month, on Saturday mornings starting at 9.00 am. They are open every long weekend throughout market season, with a few extras included – such as the extremely popular New Year’s Eve market.
The Southern Yorke Peninsula Visitor Information Centre stall has Stansbury memorabilia for sale and also plenty of information for exploring the beautiful Yorke Peninsula. You can find them right next to the Stansbury Museum sausage sizzle (who also make amazing egg and bacon sandwiches for those looking for breakfast).
