SUMMARY:Walk a Mile in My Boots
DESCRIPTION:This August\, walk a mile for people experiencing homelessness \nNo one should have to face homelessness alone. \nWalk in solidarity with our community on Friday 7 August at Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi — a powerful moment to stand with the 7\,000+ people in South Australia without a safe place to call home. \nGo the extra mile: fundraise and take on the challenge to walk 2\, 7 or even 10 miles a day during National Homelessness Week (3–9 August). \nIn Australia\, it’s estimated that a person sleeping rough walks around 28km (17.8 miles) each week — just to reach essential services and find safety for the night. \nWill you step up to help end homelessness for them?
