ActNow Theatre’s actor/facilitators take audiences through a series of short scenes with songs\, dance\, puppets and stories that build their sense of personal safety and belonging\, and teach them how to advocate for themselves and each other. \nJOIN US FOR OUR FREE PERFORMANCES!\nWith the help of an Adelaide City Council Community Grant\, we are presenting two free public performances of Like Me\, Like You this May\, coinciding with Reconciliation Week (27th May – 3rd June 2026). \nDate Saturday 30th of May \nTime 10:30am & 1:00pm \nVenue North Adelaide Baptist Church Hall\, 144 Tynte Street North Adelaide \nDuration 60 minutes \nPre‑show activity: Doors open at 10am for children to make an origami plane\, boat or canoe. Regular movement supports healthy growth\, strong bones and muscles\, improved cardiovascular fitness and overall wellbeing. Research also shows that active children demonstrate stronger concentration and cognitive performance\, helping them arrive at school focused and ready to learn. \nWalk Safely to School Day also responds to a significant national health challenge\, with around one in four Australian children affected by overweight or obesity. DESCRIPTION:Touch A Truck is back these April school holidays! \nHosted by the City of Tea Tree Gully\, this FREE family-friendly event will take place on Monday 13 April 2026\, 10am–3pm at Civic Park (995 North East Road\, Modbury). \nKids can get up close to their favourite heavy vehicles and machinery\, discover how they work and meet the people who operate them.
