DESCRIPTION:Penfield Park Railway is hosting a Superhero Theme Open Day on Sunday\, August 25th\, from 12 noon until 4 p.m. \nThe event will feature a variety of ride-on trains\, including a steam train\, running on the tracks. Visitors can also enjoy the quarter-scale speedway cars\, garden railway\, small indoor HO railway\, and the Penfield Quarry\, all of which will be in operation. Superhero-themed displays will be showcased throughout the park\, and attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superheroes. \nTo ensure safety\, covered shoes are required for all train rides\, and open-toed footwear\, including thongs and open sandals\, is not allowed. \nEntry is priced at $12 per person or $40 for a family of up to five people (with children under 3 admitted free). The admission fee includes unlimited rides on the model trains. \nThe canteen will be open\, offering a selection of pies\, pasties\, sausage rolls\, toasted sandwiches\, hot and cold drinks\, and ice creams. DESCRIPTION:The official opening of the new Coastal Walkway Bridges will take place Saturday 3 August. \nThis day will celebrate the completion of this two-year\, multi-million dollar project\, a joint partnership between the City of Marion and the South Australian State Government. \nThe Premier of South Australia\, Hon Peter Malinauskas MP\, and Mayor Kris Hanna will cut the ribbon at the Grey Gully Bridge (located at Grey Road) from 9:30 am and then the ceremony will move to the Kurnabinna Gully Bridge. \nThe FREE event along the Coastal Walkway begins at 10 am\, starting from Grey Road to Fryer Street. \nEnjoy free coffee from local coffee vans\, a free barbecue\, and fun activities for all ages. \nclick here for more information
