SUMMARY:Quest for the Coolest Animal In The World - Adelaide Fringe
DESCRIPTION:Marine biologist turned award-winning comedian Robyn Perkins is on a mission to discover the coolest animal in the world! She’s joined by her hilarious friends — singer\, actor and former birthday clown Rosie Russell\, and quick-witted comedian Andrew Silverwood — for a wild adventure packed with comedy\, science\, music\, and games\, plus more fascinating animal facts than you can shake a tentacle at. \nFrom sneaky slugs to deceitful bugs\, this interactive show will have kids laughing and learning. A must-see show for all who love animals! \nWINNER: Children’s Event\, Weekly Award\, FW Perth 2025\nWINNER: Best in Comedy\, Shaftesbury Fringe 2023\n★★★★½ “standout scientific fun!” FringeFeed\, 2025\n★★★★★ “My advice is grab a ticket pronto because what an absolute treat this was!” FringeFeed\, 2026 \nCome armed with what animal you think is the coolest animal in the world…and why! (Not literally with the animal… that may prove to be quite difficult and dangerous). \nWHERE: The Piglet (open-air) at Gluttony – Rymill Park \nWHEN: Sat\, 21 Feb – Sun\, 15 Mar \nTIME: \n\nSat 28 Feb – Sun 01 Mar: 2:00pm\nSat 07 Mar – Mon 09 Mar: 2:00pm\nSat 14 Mar – Sun 15 Mar: 2:00pm\n\nDURATION: 45 mins \nCONTENT RATING: G \nBook tickets here \nKids in Adelaide Review\n★★★★ 1/2 \nThis is exactly the kind of Fringe show families love. Funny\, interactive and packed with just enough learning to make you feel like you’ve nailed the “fun but educational” box for the day. \nFrom the start\, Robyn\, Rosie and Andrew had the whole crowd in stitches. The comedy lands for both kids and adults (which is harder than it looks)\, with plenty of silly moments\, quick banter and genuine belly laughs. It never drags\, and the energy stays high the entire time. \nWhat surprised us most was how much the kids actually learnt without even realising. The animal facts are fascinating and delivered in such a fun way that they stick. My girls have not stopped talking about the fact that hippopotamuses sweat blood. Fringe AND science? We’ll take it. \nThere’s music\, dancing\, audience participation and interactive games with prizes. The performers are warm\, quick on their feet and brilliant at working the crowd\, making every show feel slightly different and very personal. \nIt’s suitable for all ages\, but we’d especially recommend it for kids aged five and up\, who will get the most out of the humour and the facts. \nIf you’re looking for a Fringe show that’s genuinely entertaining\, not too long\, and leaves the kids talking about it for days\, Quest for the Coolest Animal in the World is a winner.

SUMMARY:Silence of the Jams II - Lack of Judgement Day - Adelaide Fringe
DESCRIPTION:Part film part music concert – Join our unlikely hero Eddie Ray as he navigates his way through the Wild West in this hilarious future cowboy film taking on the internet with the most powerful weapon there is – Live Music! This feelgood film combines indie film-making with original music with the entirely original soundtrack performed live by The Band of Legends. Whether it’s the music\, the bad dad jokes\, or the epic Australian landscapes; This family friendly comedy has something for everyone – Immersing you in a live music cinema experience unlike anything else on this planet. \nIn a day and age where technology is everywhere\, sometimes it’s hard to have those conversations about leaving your screen at home and going for a walk\, especially when we as adults struggle just as much as the kids to put down our phones. This family show tackles this issue in a way that’s fun\, engaging\, and silly whilst posing the question – what would the world look like if you were the only one on the planet who’d never been on the internet? Audiences rave about the uniqueness of the experience\, the fun and uplifting nature of the storytelling\, the excellent musicianship and the overall creative concept! Families are loving the way this show starts these conversations and brings a fresh approach to something that affects all of us. \nThis show is possibly the most unique and creative show you will see – created entirely by two people who like to get outside and get creative\, this show crosses over multiple artforms and blends comedy with action to create a fun ride that never risks taking itself too seriously. \nWHERE & WHEN: \n\nTandanya Theatre at Gluttony at Tandanya: Sat 07 Mar – Mon 09 Mar: 4:00pm\n Mount Barker Town Hall: Fri 13 Mar: 7:00pm\nDomain Theatre at Marion Cultural Centre: Sat 14 Mar: 7:00pm\nTheatre at Murray Bridge Performing Arts + Function Centre: Sun 15 Mar: 2:00pm\n\nDURATION: 60 mins \nCONTENT RATING: PG \nBook your tickets here \nKids in Adelaide Review\n★★★★ \nWe loved this wild\, quirky\, and original mash-up of cinema\, comedy\, and live music from start to finish. The concept is brilliantly unique\, a hilarious future-cowboy film about taking on AI with the soundtrack performed live by Eddie Ray and his Band of Legends. The mix of comedy\, wild storytelling\, and live music kept us all entertained the whole way through\, with plenty of sight gags\, unexpected twists\, and catchy musical moments. \nThe story is absurd\, imaginative\, and full of charm\, making it perfect for kids eight and up while adults will appreciate the clever humour and the energy of the live band. Eddie Ray’s charisma and the band’s musical talent bring every scene to life\, creating a truly immersive experience. \nFull of creativity\, laughs\, and unforgettable moments\, it is a completely unique Fringe experience. Grab the crew and get ready for a seriously fun ride!

So when we heard he was bringing a full-length show to Fringe this time around\, it immediately went to the top of our list. \nPacked with impressive basketball tricks (best in the world impressive) and high-energy fun\, the show had the audience laughing and cheering throughout. We love the way BasketballMan combines skills with stories and weaves his messages of positive thinking\, practice and perseverance into his shows. \nA great venue too if you want a show away from the hustle and bustle of The Garden and Gluttony and a short walk to Fool’s Paradise. \nIf your kids love basketball\, take them to this show.\nIf your kids love sport\, take them to this show.\nIf your kids love seriously cool tricks\, silly laughs and plenty of wow moments\, take them to this show.

SUMMARY:FoRT - Adelaide Fringe
DESCRIPTION:Watch and be amazed as sheets\, broomsticks\, chairs and couches transform into fantastical places to play and explore using ridiculous clowning\, spectacular acrobatics and beautiful visual imagery. \nCelebrating the kind of creative genius that can turn lounge rooms into volcanoes\, trees into castles and cardboard boxes into racing cars. If you’ve ever made a cubby in your lounge room\, or helped a little one create their own\, this is an inspiring and delightful new theatrical experience that you and the whole family will enjoy. \n★★★★★ “a delightful celebration of imagination from two charismatic performers” Kids in Adelaide \nWHERE: Main Hall at Woodville Town Hall \nWHEN: Sat\, 21 Feb – Sun\, 08 Mar \nTIME: \n\nSat 21 Feb – Sun 22 Feb: 11:00am\nThu 26 Feb – Sun 01 Mar: 11:00am\nThu 05 Mar – Sun 08 Mar: 11:00am\n\nDURATION: 50 mins \nCONTENT RATING: G \nBook tickets here \nKids in Adelaide Review\n★★★★ \nWhat a fun\, clever and genuinely creative show. It takes everyday household stuff and turns it into the kind of magic that makes kids realise their imagination is actually pretty powerful (and also that nothing in your house is safe ever again). \nMy girls were completely hooked from the start. Proper belly laughs\, wide eyes\, and that rare moment where they actually sit still because they don’t want to miss a thing. The performers had such a great way of connecting with the audience and really pulled the kids into the story. \nThe best part? As soon as it finished they were already planning how to recreate it at home. So yes\, there will definitely be furniture rearranging\, random objects going “missing” and a lot of dramatic performances happening in our lounge room this week. \nIt’s one of those shows that doesn’t just entertain them for an hour\, it sparks something that sticks. You can see the ideas ticking over in their heads on the way out. \nSuch a great pick for families\, with plenty of laughs for the grown-ups too. I’d absolutely recommend it for kids aged five and up.
