SUMMARY:Nostalgia Events at Capri: Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit
DESCRIPTION:June 14 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm \nDust off your bunny ears and round up the family for an afternoon of old-school fun at the Capri! \nWe’re kicking things off with a classic cartoon to warm up those giggles\, before stepping back in time for a short silent comedy brought gloriously to life by John Slater on the mighty WurliTzer theatre organ. There’s nothing quite like the sound of pipes\, pedals and playful melodies filling the Art Deco auditorium — just as it did in cinema’s golden age. \nThen it’s time for cheese\, chaos and colossal carrots as we screen the beloved claymation adventure Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. When a mysterious beast starts terrorising Tottington’s vegetable gardens\, eccentric inventor Wallace and his long-suffering (and much smarter) dog Gromit must hop into action. Expect cracking contraptions\, British wit\, and more Wensleydale references than you can shake a celery stick at. \nIt’s a celebration of screen nostalgia for kids and grown-ups alike — cartoons\, silent comedy\, live organ music and a modern animated classic\, all under one beautifully restored 1920s roof. \nBig laughs. Big carrots. Big organ sound. \nBook early — this one’s bound to multiply! \nAdults $18\nConcession/Student $14\nKids Under 15 & Seniors $13

SUMMARY:A bright and inspired primary school tour
DESCRIPTION:Give your child a bright and inspired start at St Raphael’s School. Under Principal Emma Fowler’s child-centred leadership\, our Reception classrooms are calm\, joyful spaces where children are known\, nurtured and challenged to be their curious\, creative best. \nFrom the very beginning\, we focus on strong foundations in literacy and numeracy\, alongside rich learning in the arts\, STEM\, inquiry and play. Children are encouraged to ask questions\, experiment\, create and problem-solve\, building the confidence and thinking skills they’ll need in a changing world. \nWellbeing sits at the heart of every day. Small class sizes\, warm relationships and a close-knit community help children feel safe\, settled and ready to learn\, while our teachers gently support social skills\, resilience and emotional regulation. You’ll see happy faces\, calm routines and children who genuinely love coming to school. \nCreativity is woven through everything we do – from vibrant classroom projects and performances to opportunities for problem-solving and leadership\, even in the early years. Our learners are encouraged to think big\, express themselves and take pride in their achievements\, whether they shine in reading\, maths\, sport\, music or the arts. \nJoin a Principal’s Tour to experience our learning in action\, meet Emma and our student ambassadors\, and explore whether our mid-year or standard Reception intakes are right for your family. Walk through our learning and play spaces\, ask every question on your mind\, and picture your child thriving here from day one. Book your tour today at raph.catholic.edu.au/enrolment/principal-s-tours or call 8274 4900 – we can’t wait to welcome you.
