SUMMARY:Walk a Mile in My Boots
DESCRIPTION:This August\, walk a mile for people experiencing homelessness \nNo one should have to face homelessness alone. \nWalk in solidarity with our community on Friday 7 August at Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi — a powerful moment to stand with the 7\,000+ people in South Australia without a safe place to call home. \nGo the extra mile: fundraise and take on the challenge to walk 2\, 7 or even 10 miles a day during National Homelessness Week (3–9 August). \nIn Australia\, it’s estimated that a person sleeping rough walks around 28km (17.8 miles) each week — just to reach essential services and find safety for the night. \nWill you step up to help end homelessness for them?

SUMMARY:St Raphael’s Principal’s Tour
DESCRIPTION:Give your child a bright and inspired start at St Raphael’s School. Under Principal Emma Fowler’s child-centred leadership\, our Reception classrooms are calm\, joyful spaces where children are known\, nurtured and challenged to be their curious\, creative best. \nFrom the very beginning\, we focus on strong foundations in literacy and numeracy\, alongside rich learning in the arts\, STEM\, inquiry and play. Children are encouraged to ask questions\, experiment\, create and problem-solve\, building the confidence and thinking skills they’ll need in a changing world. \nWellbeing sits at the heart of every day. Small class sizes\, warm relationships and a close-knit community help children feel safe\, settled and ready to learn\, while our teachers gently support social skills\, resilience and emotional regulation. You’ll see happy faces\, calm routines and children who love coming to school. \nCreativity is woven through everything we do – from classroom projects and performances to opportunities for problem-solving and leadership\, even in the early years. Our learners are encouraged to think big\, express themselves and take pride in their achievements\, whether they shine in reading\, maths\, sport\, music or the arts. \nJoin a Principal’s Tour to experience our learning in action\, meet Emma our Principal\, and explore whether our mid-year or standard Reception intakes are right for your family. Walk through our learning and play spaces\, ask every question on your mind\, and picture your child thriving here from day one. \nBook your tour today \n8274 4900
