DESCRIPTION:The South Australian Society of Model & Experimental Engineers (SASMEE) is a miniature train ride experience your kids will LOVE you for. \nThe objectives of the Society is to create and maintain interest in model making of all types. So there’s small machine tools\, tool making and experimental engineering connected to models. This is very much a kids haven! \nAdults and children can experience the amazing model trains up close and personal\, and the main highlight of SASMEE is being able to ride on a range of model steam and diesel trains! DESCRIPTION:A discovery ride through Happy Valley Reservoir Reserve offers a unique escape in the heart of Adelaide’s southern suburbs. \nSpend the day exploring the scenic trails of Happy Valley Reservoir Reserve with the support and guidance of Bike SA. \nJust 35 minutes from the city\, this discovery ride offers riders of all ages and abilities the opportunity to experience the reserve’s unique natural environment by bike\, with a range of trail options suited to beginners through to more experienced mountain bikers. \nAll paths at Happy Valley are suitable for mountain bikes and are shared with pedestrians\, so riders are encouraged to be considerate of other trail users throughout the day. Choose from a variety of loops including: \nSouthern Loop: 2 km | approximately 10 minutes (easy – suitable for beginners)\nWoodland Loop: 4 km | approximately 15 minutes (easy – suitable for beginners)\nBoundary Loop: 10.5 km | approximately 40 minutes (intermediate )\nShoreline Loop: 11 km | approximately 45 minutes (intermediate )\nDownload your Ride with GPS Maps here \nThe Event Village will be open from 9:30am to 1:30pm\, with riders welcome to commence their ride from 10:00am onwards. This is a relaxed\, self-guided experience\, allowing participants to choose their preferred route and ride at their own pace. \nThe Event Village will feature food and coffee vendors\, a family-friendly kids’ skills park with balance/pedal bike riding features\, and plenty of space to relax\, socialise\, and enjoy the atmosphere before or after your ride. \nBike SA Ride Marshals will be positioned throughout to provide assistance\, guidance and support\, helping riders navigate the trail network and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
