Welcome to Lobethal Bakery!! Situated in the gorgeous small town of Lobethal (with stores also in Woodside, Balhannah, Stirling and Mt Barker) – not too far from your back door! A perfect spot for an affordable family lunch, or a great reason to take a drive in the Adelaide Hills.
It may seem even closer when the trip is made for one of their FAMOUS giant donuts, almost as large as your child’s head and available in chocolate & sprinkle, glazed and jam & cream! Watch your kids eyes light up (like they have never seen a donut before) as they lay in to it. Perfect for sharing, because they really are novelty sized. To ensure you are not disappointed, drop them a quick call and pre-order one as they do sell out quickly!
The menu also offers the best of kids
bakery treats, such as sausage rolls, small pizzas, party pies & pasties,
and adults can enjoy fresh salad rolls and an abundance of the highest quality
bakery goods. (Actually the donuts are just as popular with the big people!)
Don’t forget the house made gelati! Made
in flavours that kids adore like bubblegum, mars, mint & many more. The
adults love it too and you will not be leaving hungry. If it is gelati you are
after (it is only the Lobethal and Woodside stores that offer the creamy icy
treat)
Also on offer, the best AMANTI coffees,
yummo babyccino and milk shakes!
Take a hills drive for an affordable quality bakery lunch with the family this weekend! And maybe a donut treat!

Its no secret we love a bakery. In fact hitting up a bakery whenever we travel literally anywhere, occurs so often it can be classed as a hobby. So when we spent the morning at the beautiful central Yorke Peninsula town of Minlaton, we went to where the locals go, the Minlaton Bakery. Located on the Main Street (you really can't miss it), we found it to be ideal spot to fuel up a mid morning treat before having a crack at the awesome Minlaton Playground, just down the road. But what to eat? The eternal bakery dilemma. Generally, a bakery is judged on their chocolate donuts and meat pies, which we can comfortably say (bearing in mind we also review a LOT of donuts....check out some of our faves here) that they are top notch on both counts. Freshly baked, plenty of stock, heaps of variety (without getting too freaky with insta photo op donuts you can't actually properly eat) and lots of space to sit down inside and enjoy your meal with the fam. Did we mention the coffee? Because you never quite know what you are going to get with country bakery coffee do you....will it be…
