Pizza Hut All You Can Eat is STILL A THING!

Family Friendly Eats, Kids Eat Free | 0 comments

Yep, you read that correctly, over eating has never looked better! Marion Pizza Hut still operates an actual restaurant, and you can dine in for ‘The Works All you Can Eat’ deal! Does family friendly dining in Adelaide get any better than this?! We went along to find out.

If you grew up in the 80’s there’s no doubt you have fond memories of family nights out at a Pizza Hut Restaurant! I’m pretty sure mum took us after seeing Back to the Future #1 at Willsy’s Academy Cinema. The only thing missing tonight was a Pizza Pete Ginger Bread Man and a Land Before Time promotional toy.

Covid 19 restrictions have meant the “serve yourself” has had to go and the salad bar is currently out but the ‘all you can eat’ buffet at Marion will still see you meet your food capacity match, when you go up the the pizza bar, they just help serve you for the time being.

It’s so much fun and a family friendly environment, cleaner décor and brighter than I remember but still the same affordable night out. Dinner works for Adults is $21.95, Kids 4-12 $10.95 and under 4 are free. Wednesday nights there is a Kids Eat Free offer.

The price includes bottomless soft drink, Pizza, Pasta, Garlic Bread, Chips, Dessert and a huge serve of nostalgia. Beer and wine are available at an extra cost.

The serving staff are friendly and the pans were always fresh with new pizza, we never had to wait more than a few moments to be served.

  • Do your kids love pizza? Do your kids love mac n cheese? If you answered yes to both......don't make them choose! We've found a place where you can get both......together......on the same plate! That's right.......mac n cheese deep crust pizza at Remy's - Deep Dish Pizza & Bar is a thing.....and it's a DELICIOUS crowd pleaser of a thing. If your kids are cheese obsessed like mine this is definitely going to be a winner! Plus the cocktails… YUM! Their menu is chock-a-block full of deep dish pizza goodness. If Mac n Cheese ain't your thing they've also got a bunch of other just as mouth watering pizza toppings including snag n shrooms, triple cheeseburger and the fire breather as well as never fail faves like The Basic B (just cheese) and BBQ chicken. There's vegan options and they also have fries, garlic bread and fried mozarella if you need something on the side. It comes with a disclaimer that the pizzas take 30-40 minutes to cook, but when we went there was super speedy service, which is always great when you have kids in tow. There's isn't heaps of room for prams, so just bear this in mind when…

  • Attention Northerners - An exciting northern suburbs Doughballs store is now open at Mawson Lakes! I honestly can't remember a time when I have been more impressed with a kids menu. Passionate about pizza, fresh SA produce and delivering a quality value offering and experience to families, we couldn't rave more about our meal with the kids at DoughBalls, Moseley Square Glenelg. DoughBalls is a NEW to The Bay, serving up Brunch from 10am, Lunch, Dinner and takeaway! You can even just stop in for coffee and wait for it, they do *cocktails* (check out the bottomless Sunday Brunch). Firstly, what is a DoughBall anyway? Well, it's a little warm ball of heaven to be honest. Served up plain with butters and pesto, or dressed with savoury or sweet toppings. Importantly kids will LOVE them. Set smack bang in the heart of the square, we were toasty warm upstairs on the balcony, which was heated and enclosed for winter. I can only imagine this prime position will be a popular breezy, balmy delight in summer. The views set the perfect backdrop, although I must admit the kids were torn and drawn to the bright and colourful 'beach hut style' booths…

Adelaide’s Best Donut – (A story by Tim)

Adelaide’s Best Donut – (A story by Tim)

Donuts. Nobody hates a donut and if they do, they aren’t worth knowing anyway. Probably the most important food in our economy, shown by the fact that when referencing any country town the quality of the bakery is point number 1, and every bakery lives or dies by its donuts. Case closed. Donuts are King.
