DESCRIPTION:Join us for a vibrant day of inspiration and fun at the City of Burnside’s third annual Enviro Expo. \nThere will be something for everyone at this popular event featuring a range of inspirational talks\, activities for kids\, a sustainable fashion market\, eco displays and free takeaways for your garden. \nDive into all things environment and sustainability and get inspired to make a difference for the future of the earth. \nJoin us from 10 am for a very special First Nations Welcome to Country by Robert Taylor\, including a traditional smoking ceremony. \nFollowing the ceremony\, Costa Georgiadis will present our annual Environment Awards and present a keynote talk on sustainability. \nKids Activities\nThere’s plenty to keep the little ones entertained! Enjoy face painting\, nature craft\, native animals\, a native ‘pea bee’ treasure trail with free gifts\, and a hands-on “Touch a Truck” experience with East Waste garbage truck. \nSustainable Fashion Market\nExplore the Sustainable Fashion Market in the Ballroom presented by the City of Burnside as well as a variety of eco arts and crafts stalls by Urban Market co in the Burnside Town Hall. \nFood and Drinks\nThere will be a range of food and drinks onsite including good coffee and food vans with vegan options. \nBring your family and friends and be part of a fun\, inspiring day celebrating and learning about environment and sustainability. \nBookings not essential\, but please register your interest to stay up to date with important event information. \nWHERE: Burnside Civic Centre \nWHEN: Saturday 2 May \nTIME: 10 am – 3 pm \nCOST: Free entry
