DESCRIPTION:Join Crispy Shawn the Christmas Prawn and all his friends for the 2025 PAE Christmas Trail. \nThis year you can step into a world of colour\, character and cracking good jokes to celebrate the silly season with a playful\, interactive\, augmented reality trail. \nThink technology like Pokémon Go but the creativity and imagination of artist Luku Kuku creating characters and stories especially for us in PAE! \nHow It Works \nAt nine locations across PAE you’ll discover a stack of GIANT presents\, visit each location from 7 December to 25 January to discover seven different characters – each one a playful nod to the unique ways we celebrate in PAE. \nEach present uses Augmented Reality (AR)\, all you need to do is scan the QR code located on the giant presents with your apple or android phone to reveal a character\, grab its special code letter and enjoy a fun and interactive laugh with your new best mate. Find all seven characters and their code letters across PAE\, to spell out a code word. Once you’ve got the code word\, visit your local library and let the friendly library team know the word and they’ll give you a prize to commemorate your adventure across PAE. \nWhether you’re up for a one-day treasure hunt\, a trek across PAE\, or you visit your local site weekly\, we’ll make sure all nine locations rotate through the characters\, so everyone in PAE can meet the full cast of characters\, discover the code word and play along. \nThe PAE Christmas trail is a fun way to celebrate and make memories together – begin your adventure today! \nPlease note lighting conditions and time of day may affect your AR experience. On Saturday 17 February 2024\, the City of Port Adelaide Enfield is throwing a one-night\, free live music event showcasing over 25 of South Australia’s best emerging local musicians across multiple Port Adelaide venues. \nNew Found Sound is a free music discovery walking trail where punters can bounce between nine diverse spaces throughout the Port including Archie Badenoch\, The Banksia Tree\, Confession\, Fergie Mac’s Lounge\, Iparrityi Laneway\, Milledge’s Distillation\, Pirate Life Brewery\, the Port Admiral Hotel and even inside the iconic Port Adelaide Lighthouse for an epic soundscape experience developed by Loud Clouds. \nThere’s truly something for everyone\, with the lineup spanning genres including punk\, soul\, indie folk and psych rock\, with program highlights including some of SA’s most talented and emerging talent.
