The space also features the ABC series Dance with Tom\, a joyful celebration of Yugambeh language and stories through movement. It’s a fun and inclusive way for children to experience First Nations language in action. \nThis space will open from Saturday 30 May – Wednesday 3 June and is free to explore. No bookings required.

DESCRIPTION:Night Lab: In Our Element is an after-hours\, adults only\, ticketed event at the South Australian Museum celebrating the four natural elements: Earth\, Air\, Fire and Water. Held three times a year\, the award-winning Night Lab series of themed events brings science to the community in a fun and friendly setting\, allowing adults to dance\, drink and discover the science and natural history contained at the South Australian Museum. \nIn the August edition of this series\, Night Lab: In Our Element will take its theme from the four natural elements\, exploring the science and cultural significance that these have for Aboriginal and other First Nations groups. With fire performers\, science shows\, costume judging\, themed food and drinks\, science presentation and presentations on cultural significance\, element based adult crafts among many other events this is sure to be a ground-breaking evening that will leave a fire in your belly or wind in your sails.
