  • The Semaphore Carousel was built in 1928 and made Semaphore it's home around 10 years later. The carousel is managed by the Rotary Club of Henley Beach to raise money for charity. Apparently the largest operating carousel in Australia with 40 beautiful handcrafted wooden horses. The Carousel is open every weekend, Public & School Holidays – 11am to 5pm (weather permitting). Summer school holidays open till 10pm Rides are $5 There's loads of other attractions and things to see and do in Semaphore, especially in summer or on a sunny winters days so why not make a day of it and visit Semaphore Foreshore Playground or the Semaphore Waterslides too!

  • Operating for nearly 30 years, The Semaphore Waterslide is on the beautiful foreshore next to the Semaphore jetty and  carousel. The waterslide is over 70 metres in length with twists and turns to keep the kids entertained! Other attractions include a Ferris Wheel, Mini Golf Course, Jumping Castle, and sideshows with Laughing Clowns and Pluck-A-Duck games. The Flying Bee was added in 2004 and is perfect for smaller children.
