City of Adelaide Band and picnic

This spring, pack a picnic and enjoy free live music in the glorious garden!
The City of Adelaide Band will come to the Garden to entertain audiences with 35 musicians playing brass and woodwind instruments, as well as bass and percussion.
They will perform a variety of music in a diverse range of genres including jazz, semi-classical, pop and movie themes, led by accomplished conductor Sergey Grynchuk, which will have everyone from children to grandparents tapping their toes.
So, bring your picnic or grab some lunch from our onsite kiosk or deli, pack a picnic blanket and head on down to the Garden for this fun musical day!
Please note this is an outdoor event and will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
The City of Adelaide Band is a community concert band formed in 1936. The band comprises volunteer musicians and normally plays in the City of Adelaide precinct at events or community concerts, supported by The City of Adelaide council.
