HANDMADE. HANDCRAFTED. HANDPICKED.
For the entire month of September Hahndorf will celebrate their rich linage of artisan culture over a month-long festival this month called Hahndorf. Handmade. Handcrafted. Handpicked, with more than 400 intimate events and experiences in and around the Main Street of the historic village.

APPLE STRUDEL MAKING CLASS | HAHNDORF INN
Experience a unique hands-on class with a Hahndorf Inn chef guiding you through to create your own apple strudel and enjoy with a hot drink.

AUTHENTIC ITALIAN COOKING CLASS | IL MULINO
A hands-on delicious cooking class with chef Cristian at Hahndorf Italian restaurant Il Mulino. Learn to make Pizza and Pizza Fritta.

BOOK READING & MUMS GROUP | ROOTS AND REASONS
Bring your bubs along to hear some favourite kids’ books being read by Amber. Meet other mums while enjoying a coffee & cake.

DAILY OPAL CUTTING DEMONSTRATIONS | AUSTRALIAN OPAL COMPANY
Daily opal cutting demonstrations in the glass walled opal cutting workshop within the opal shop.

GEL PRINT MAKING | THE CEDARS HAHNDORF
All ages: Learn gel print making at The Cedars with Artist Jane Mant. It is a playful process that lends itself beautifully to connecting to nature.

Eyeball the giant bag of Fruchocs. Will you handpick the number correctly and win the ginormous bag of Fruchocs? Customers must spend $40 to participate. DATE: DAILY
KIDS’ CUPCAKE DECORATING CLASS | ROOTS AND REASONS
Join Roots & Reasons for a fun and simple session on learning how to decorate cupcakes using your imagination.

MAKE YOUR OWN FAIRY GARDEN FOR KIDS | THE FAIRY GARDEN
Come along and make your very own fairy garden. You will be supplied with a pot, potting mix and baby tears as a base for your garden.
DATE: 17 September 10.30am
COST: $15 per kit + booking fee + whatever materials you choose to use.
MINI GOLF TOURNAMENT | HAHNDORF MINI GOLF
Mini golf tournament, 2nd September with a cash prize. All participants on that day ($7 Kids $9 Adults) eligible to win.
