Run for Rangers – ParkRun & South Australian Ranger Association

The SARA representatives at Forestry SA have outdone themselves this time, upgrading the Run for Rangers event to a partnership with the popular ‘Parkrun’ initiative!

At 8am on Saturday 6 May starting at The Avenues picnic area on Black Nursery Road adjacent TreeClimb https://www.forestrysa.com.au/before-you-visit/picnicking/

Parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog or run 5km and takes place every Saturday around Australia, including within the heart of Kuitpo Forest. During this very special parkrun event, participants will have an opportunity to help raise money for The Thin Green Line Foundation who work predominantly in developing nations and conflict zones, and with Aboriginal Rangers within Australia, to provide vital support to Rangers and their communities who are the front-line of conservation.

No sign up needed, come along and get fit, or if you are already fit, just show off! Door prizes will be on offer and the SARA merch tent will be there to kit you out in your favourite SARA and Thin Green Line gear.
