Run Wild at Monarto Safari Park + help celebrate 40 years!

Run wild, raise funds and help bring elephants to South Australia.
Run Wild is a 3km and 10km, run, walk or wheelchair challenge, raising money to home three Asian elephants at Monarto Safari Park. Up for a greater challenge? Enter to run the 20km or 42.2km half or full marathon.
Run through the stunning landscapes of Monarto Safari Park and experience the natural beauty of this unique environment and catch glimpses of wild animals including lions, giraffes, rhinos and chimps as you travel through the trails.
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-time participant, there’s something for everyone. It’s a chance to challenge yourself, push your limits, and achieve something extraordinary for three special elephants.
On 21 October 2023 you can join Run Wild at Monarto Safari Park or virtually take part anywhere between 20 – 22 October to run, walk or wheelchair 3km, 10km, or enter to run the half or full marathon to raise funds to help us home elephants.

PLUS, celebrate Monarto Safari Park’s 40th Birthday!
Join the birthday party FUN on the day of the Run Wild event. Enjoy plenty of fun, music and laughs with a special Welcome to Country by Uncle Clyde, presentations, the planting of a historic time capsule, face-painting, temporary tattoos and learn all about the park’s history upstairs in the Sanaa Exhibition Room.
