REVIEW | TRASH TEST DUMMIES
★★★★★
They’re bumbling, they’re tumbling and they’re BACK! It’s so great to see Fringe stalwarts, Dummies Corps back again at the Adelaide Fringe. We have been long time Dummies fans and this year is no exception!
Often the best way to review a kids show is not to watch the show itself, but to watch the kids – from start to finish, our kids had looks of awe, laughter, amazement and pure joy all over their faces. The Dummies use just the right amount of slapstick, nonsense and sheer talent to keep the kids wanting more.
Trash Test Dummies is a perfect introduction to circus for kids – they’ll get to see some acrobatics, juggling, silly dancing and clever choreography, all mixed together with some humour and excellent prop use.
The kids will love seeing them run through the audience, love being able to throw some balls around and the Dummies best trick is perhaps getting the kids to help with the cleanup at the end and the kids thinking it’s the BEST FUN EVER. Can they come to our house and do that please?
Don’t worry if your kids are wriggly or a bit noisy in this show – the Trash Test Dummies don’t take themselves too seriously and you shouldn’t either!
(We were given tickets to this show in exchange for an honest review. All words and opinion are our own)
