The Adelaide Youth Theatre are very exciting to be staging this magical Disney production for young audiences of SA!
Disney’s ’The Lion King JR is a one-hour song and dance show that brings all of your favourite Lion King characters to full life right before your eyes!
Disney’s The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world and now, you have the opportunity to see this one-of-a-kind classic Disney musical. The African savannah comes to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle… and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.
70 talented young SA performers have been working hard to bring you this show since January this year when the show was abruptly shut down a week before their performances due to Covid.
They are SO excited that it is finally going to hit the stage in the April school holidays!
