Waterworld is a premier outdoor swimming centre on Golden Grove Road, Ridgehaven in Adelaide’s north-east.
Families can spend the day swimming in the heated pools, whizing down the curly slide or challenging friends on the two racing slides.
Toddlers and pre-schoolers will enjoy the crazy fun of the interactive splash pad and toddler pool.
There are 3 pools available suitable for all ages and swimming abilities.
The Main Pool
- 50m long with eight lanes and 1-1.8m depth
- Heated to about 27 degrees
- Disability access
Learners pool
- 20m by 18m with depth from 0.75 to 1.1 m
- Heated to about 28 degrees
Toddler pool
- 30cm deep with beach entrance leading to interactive splash pad
- Heated to about 28 degrees
There are plenty of shaded areas, a café and free barbecue facilities – all in a beautiful natural environment.
The centre is wheelchair friendly and has picnic tables, a drinking fountain, toilets, showers and lockers.

- Adult – $8.50 ($7 conc)
- 2-15 years – $7 Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
- Under 2s – Free
- Family – $26 Either 1 adult with 3 children or 2 adults with 2 children
- Spectator (non pool use) – $4 ($3.50 conc)
- Aged/Veteran pensioner (before 9am) – Free
