Books R 4 Babies 2 (Ages 0-2 Years)

This program is about parents, carers and babies sharing time together reading and playing literacy based games. The sessions involve welcome songs, rhymes and finger games which are aimed at children from 0 to 4 years of age. No bookings required.

Storytime (Ages 2+)

Join in the fun with our regular story reading and activities for pre-schoolers during school term! There is no need to book and children are encouraged to come along with their parents/grandparents/carers as often as they like. Please be aware that story time is not held during school holidays.

Fun Kits for Kids

Fun Kits 4 Kids are activity kits available now at both Playford Libraries. The kits are designed for early childhood (birth – 8 years) and are available to borrow for any library member (registration is free) with a limit of two kits per library card. There are a huge variety of kits to choose from which include:

  • Frisbees
  • Pull along toys
  • Grip and scoop balls
  • Quoits
  • Skittles
  • Skipping Ropes
  • Puzzles
  • Puppets

Free shuttle bus to Adelaide Writers’ Week!

Adelaide Writer’s Week 2014 program once again brings together some of the finest writers and thinkers from around the world including popular authors Alexander McCall Smith, Hannah Kent, Steven Carroll, Tom Keneally and many more. So for those of you in the City of Playford area, Playford Library this year will be offering a free shuttle service to and from the event! Pretty handy!

When? Monday 3rd & Tuesday 4th March

How much? $10 refundable deposit per person to register for the event to secure your booking
