Celebrate the stunning transformation of Breakout Creek / Purruna Pari with a free community event packed with fun for all ages.

This once channelised stretch of river has been reimagined into a thriving natural habitat, with 245,000 new native plants and trees, new wetlands and habitat pools to support fish and birdlife, and over 6 km of trails for walking, running and cycling.

There are also new picnic shelters, viewing platforms and striking Kaurna artworks that celebrate and reconnect with the area’s cultural heritage.

Explore this beautiful riverside haven while enjoying live entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities that connect you with nature.

Activities include:

• Meet 6 baby dinosaur puppets – Tilly, Blue, Terry, Ptash, Stanley and Poppy
• Step inside the colourful Nylon Zoo for giant inflatables and storytime
• Face painting for kids (and grown-ups too!)
• Bubble displays with giant shimmering creations
• Craft zones inspired by nature
• Live music, food and drinks to enjoy by the river
