★★★★★Some shows at Adelaide Fringe feel like a gamble. Circus The Show is not one of them. It delivers guaranteed laughs, thrills and nonstop entertainment from the moment the lights go up, and it never fails to entertain.
The format is perfect for kids. Acts are short, punchy and constantly changing, so there is always something new to grab their attention. One moment it is incredible acrobatics, the next it is magic or aerials. The energy stays high the whole way through, and the crowd is completely along for the ride.
The clown is an absolute scene-stealer. Kids are glued to every move, parents can’t stop laughing, and we would absolutely buy tickets if he ever starred in his own show. The ringmaster is equally brilliant, keeping everything moving with cheeky timing and a personality big enough to fill the tent.
What makes this circus so winning is the mix of serious skill and pure silliness. The performers are polished but playful, and the vibe stays light, warm and ridiculously fun. Five stars from us. When you just want an easy, fun, guaranteed win at Fringe, this is it… clever, cheeky, and impossible not to love.
