Dino Picnic in the Park

Bring along a picnic rug, and snacks, and join us for a morning of dinosaur themed games and stories at Memorial Gardens Park.

Prospect Library and Adelaide Dino Rangers are joining forces to bring families a morning of dinosaur delight! Pack a picnic rug and snacks, and join us at Memorial Gardens Park where children can sit beneath the trees and feel the grass between their toes.

Activities on the day include:

• Meeting a baby dinosaur
• Fossil facts and exploration
• A guide to dinosaur teeth brushing
• Bubble stomping
• Interactive story time and sing along.

Some sneaky dinosaurs may even try to STOMP our dinosaur picnic – a ‘Dino Chase’ is sure to ensue!

This event is appropriate for children between the ages of 0-5 years.

This is a FREE event by the City of Prospect. Bookings through Eventbrite are necessary. Tickets are required for each child attending. Accompanying parents and caregivers do not require a ticket.
