It’s storytime at the State Library of South Australia, together with the rest of Australia and they need your help.
Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.
Help break last year’s record of over 2 million simultaneous readers. Join in the historic Circulating Library, South Australia’s first library, for the National Simultaneous Storytime.
This event is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
This year’s story will be shared, The Bowerbird Blues, by Aura Parker and there will be some fun hands-on activities to do, including:
