Experience the magic of Christmas in the city as Adelaide’s Giant Christmas Tree lights up every night from November 15, 2025!
With 13,616 individually programmable LED lights, this dazzling tree will be the centre piece of Adelaide’s Christmas festival, illuminating Victoria Square with a mesmerising light show.
Light Show Times:
🌟 Every evening from 8:30 pm to 2:30 am
✨ Each loop lasts 10 minutes, creating an enchanting visual display you’ll want to see again and again!

Join in the magic and tradition of the official first lighting Adelaide’s Giant Christmas Tree for the season.
Come along for a free community celebration featuring our delightful MC Shanelle Franklin, enjoy live music and performances from Sun of Africa, The Baker Boys, World Music SA and the talented Primary Schools Festival of Music Choir.
Food trucks and live entertainment will make it a fun night out for the whole family!
Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the festivities.
The tree lighting ceremony will commence at 8:30 pm.
