Power Up – National Video Game Day at Rundle Mall Plaza
POWER UP RETURNS TO RUNDLE MALL PLAZA FOR TWO DAYS OF GAMING, ANIME, COSPLAY AND POP CULTURE
Rundle Mall Plaza is set to level up these school holidays as POWER UP returns for two action packed days of gaming, anime, cosplay and pop culture in the heart of Adelaide.
Following a hugely successful 2025 event that attracted more than 4,000 attendees, POWER UP returns on Friday 2 October and Saturday 3 October, with a packed program of entertainment and
activities for gamers, families, collectors, anime fans and anyone looking for something different to experience these school holidays.
Presented in collaboration with AVCon, the free, all-ages event will transform Rundle Mall Plaza into
a pop culture playground, with gaming, live entertainment, cosplay, competitions, local artists, prizes
and interactive experiences across two days.
Whether you’re a dedicated gamer, an anime fan, a first-time cosplayer or simply looking for a free
school holiday activity with the kids, there will be plenty to discover.

Families can take on the AVCon Scavenger Hunt, following clues through the Plaza and visiting
participating retailers along the way, while gaming and pop culture fans can explore artists,
competitions, cosplay and interactive experiences throughout the event.
With plenty to see and do, visitors can drop in for an activity or make a day of it – explore POWER
UP, grab something to eat and discover everything happening throughout Rundle Mall Plaza.
And there’s still plenty more to be revealed.
Special guests, artists, competitions, prizes and the full POWER UP program will be announced in
the lead-up to the event.
