Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market 20th Birthday

The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market is turning 20, and the milestone will be celebrated with a big birthday market on Sunday 4 October.

Families can enjoy live entertainment throughout the morning, including The Amazing Drumming Monkeys, The Ukes, The Core Four and live acoustic music. There will also be a CFS fire engine, a huge inflatable, kids’ birthday cupcake decorating with Joy’s and Sparkles Face Painting for a small fee.

Visitors can follow the 20th Birthday Trail to discover special offers, tastings and market deals from participating stallholders, with birthday cake also available to share while it lasts. Community Yoga and the Community Connect BBQ hosted by Adelaide Central Rotary will also be part of the celebrations.

As always, the market will be packed with South Australian farmers and producers, fresh local produce, breakfast, coffee and plenty of friendly faces. It’s a chance for families and the wider community to celebrate two decades of shopping local and supporting SA producers.
