Adelaide International – Kids Day

The Adelaide International Kids’ Day is back for 2026 and it’s shaping up to be one of the best school holiday events in Adelaide this summer.
Taking over Pinky Flat on Monday 12 January 2026, Kids’ Day is a family-friendly celebration that combines live tennis at The Drive with a huge line-up of kids activities, games and entertainment just across the river. It’s relaxed, easy to navigate and a great option for families wanting a full day out during the January school holidays.
Kids can jump in and get active with Hot Shots Tennis, inflatable tennis games and giant lawn games set up under the shady trees, while parents enjoy food trucks, cold drinks and plenty of space to spread out on the lawns. There’s a real festival feel, with something to suit toddlers right through to tweens and teens.
A general admission ticket includes access to all Kids’ Day activities at Pinky Flat, plus the chance to watch world-class tennis courtside at The Drive — making it a great-value family outing and a popular choice for Adelaide families year after year.
What’s New for Kids’ Day 2026
- The Court Yard (NEW) – A brand-new come-and-try tennis zone where kids can have a go at beach tennis, pickleball and pop tennis. No experience needed — just turn up and play.
- Splash Park – Cool off with the mega double-lane water slide and Jurassic-themed slide. Bathers are a must for this one.
- Giant Tennis Guess the Player Game (NEW) – A fun, oversized guessing game set among the trees, featuring past Adelaide International winners.
- Kidschella (NEW) – A festival-style kids zone with braids, face gems, glitter, dance and singalong sessions (Taylor Swift and K-Pop fans will love this), a 360° photo booth and Disney-themed characters throughout the week.
- Bike & Blend Smoothies (NEW) – Kids pedal to power their own smoothie, choosing from fun tennis-themed flavours like Baseline Blitz and Raspberry Racquet.
- Adelaide International Fan Phone (NEW) – Kids can leave a message about their favourite player, what they love about tennis or why sport makes them smile.
