Adelaide Walk to Remember

Walk together through the tranquil and intimate garden and olive grove of Beaumont House for this year’s Adelaide Walk to Remember, a beautiful opportunity to love and connect, to honour and remember the babies and children who are no longer with us. Everyone will be gathering from 10am for a 10:30am start.

The Walk to Remember is a long-running annual event in the Sands, and now Red Nose, community. The formal remembrance service includes readings and reflections from local bereaved families, an opportunity for guests to publicly share the name of the little one/s they are remembering , a shared time of reflection and remembrance in our Pinwheel Ceremony and of course the symbolic Walk to Remember itself – taking the footsteps our babies could not. This walk is approximately 500 meters, approximately seven minutes in duration to complete.

Please feel welcome to bring a special memento of your little one to display on our Remembrance table during the service.

The Walk to Remember is a tradition that is linked to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day/Month. We invite all bereaved Red Nose families to come along and remember their little ones, recognising that we have all experienced loss and that all our babies and children have missed out on very important steps with their families.

Activities and entertainment will be provided for children in this family friendly picnic-style event with sausage sizzle included.

Each adult or child ticket includes one pinwheel. Pinwheels are not suitable for children under 3, so please select the ticket option reflecting this.
