Alliance française French film festival

Alliance Française, the French culture and language institution, launched its film festival in Australia in 1989. Since then, it has grown into the largest festival dedicated to contemporary French films outside of France and one of the largest public events in Australia with more than 152,000 attendances in 2022.

The 2023 Alliance Française French Film Festival will screen in Adelaide at Palace Nova East End and Prospect from 23 March to 19 April.

38 movies have been selected for this year Festival, among them 5 are dedicated to children of all age:

– The Black Pharaoh, the Savage and the Princess directed by Michel Ocelot
– Belle & Sebastien directed by Pierre Coré
– Ride above directed by Christian Duguay
– Sugar and stars directed by Sebastien Tulard
– Tenor directed by Claude Zidi Jr
