The 2024 Bay to Birdwood will be held on Sunday 20 October.
One of the world’s great historic motoring events.
The iconic Bay to Birdwood is one of the world’s great historic motoring events and has been a standout fixture on the South Australian events calendar since 1980.
Thousands of spectators line the 67 kilometre route to view the passing parade of historic motoring from West Beach through to the National Motor Museum at Birdwood in the Adelaide Hills. Held annually, the Bay to Birdwood is a citizen-collector historic motoring event that draws participants from around Australia and the world to celebrate all things vintage vehicles.
Entrants, spectators and Finish Festival goers are encouraged to wear period clothing and enter the Fashions on the Field competition as is the tradition at the Bay to Birdwood!
At the National Motor Museum Finish Festival, motor enthusiasts and ticket holders join the citizen-collectors as all 1500 entrant vehicles cross the finish line. The Finish Festival hosts hundreds of rarely seen historic vehicles, food trucks that offer delicious gourmet street food and Adelaide Hills craft beer, wines and spirits. We have musical entertainment and plenty of activities for families.
