Blackwood Christmas Pageant

The Blackwood Christmas Pageant is set to take place on Friday, December 6th, starting at 6:30 PM.

Supported by the City of Mitcham and organized by the Lions Club of Blackwood in collaboration with the Waite Electorate Office, this beloved community event has been a tradition for 59 years. The parade will kick off at the corner of Gulfview Road and Main Road, showcasing 55 festive floats as it makes its way along Main Road to Young Street, turning right onto Waite Street and concluding at Waite Street Reserve.

Following the parade, attendees can enjoy the Blackwood Christmas Fair at the reserve, where Father Christmas will be available for photos and chats. Residents are encouraged to bring chairs and rugs for comfortable viewing.

Road closures will be in effect from 5:30 PM.
