Brighton Winter Solstice

Celebrate the shortest day of the year at the Brighton Winter Solstice on Saturday 20 June 2026, 4pm to 9.30pm along Jetty Road, Brighton.

This free City of Holdfast Bay street party transforms the precinct into a glowing winter wonderland with fire pits, festoon lights, live music, DJs, a silent disco and plenty of delicious food from local favourites and food trucks.

There’s also a free kids’ zone with giant games, chalk activities and soft play, plus optional extras like face painting and caricatures. New this year is a unique ocean-view mobile sauna experience, with free pre-booked sessions available.

Expect a huge community atmosphere, winter vibes by the sea and around 10,000 people soaking up the festivities.
