Debates for kids at Parliament House

Bring your kids to Adelaide’s Parliament House in January! Our education team will host visitors for a tour and a scripted Parliamentary style debate for children- to be conducted on the floor of the House of Assembly chamber. The debate will involve props, including wigs, robes, replica Mace and more. The program is prepared by a registered teacher.

This program is suited to children in year 5 and above, or children who would like to have a go reading out loud in front of their peers. Sessions will be capped at 30 children plus accompanying parent/guardians/young siblings.
