Dogs’ Day Out at Glenelg Winter Arts Festival
Saturday 20 July
12pm – 4pm
New to the Glenelg Winter Arts Festival program for 2024 – it’s the Dogs’ Day Out!
For one day only, Saturday 20 July, Glenelg Winter Arts Festival becomes a doggy haven – bring your pup and spend the afternoon celebrating our four-legged friends! The venue is Colley Reserve, on Colley Tce in Glenelg. Entry is free.
Between 12pm and 4pm, visit some dog-themed stallholders and service providers, get your face painted as your favourite pooch or have a caricature drawn of you and your pet (prices vary).
Join us at 1.30pm for the costume parade, with prizes for best dressed dog and best dog /owner partner costumes!
Well socialised and well behaved dogs are welcome, and are to be kept on a lead at all times. If your dog is reactive or unfriendly you may be asked to leave. Please clean up after your dog and place waste in the red landfill bins only. Water bowls will be put out for dogs to drink from.
Please note that, with the exception of assistance animals, dogs are not permitted in Glenelg Winter Arts Festival’s performance spaces (The May Wirth and The Kingfisher tents). If you are planning to see a show at the festival, you’ll need to find a poochsitter. 😊
