Dive into a magical world of play and creation, where everyday objects become a universe of fun and adventure.
Two strange heroes are hunting for whispers of possibility when they discover a pile of seemingly ordinary objects. Watch and be amazed as sheets, broomsticks, chairs and couches transform into fantastical places to play and explore using ridiculous clowning, spectacular acrobatics and beautiful visual imagery.
‘FoRT’ celebrates the kind of creative genius that has been known to turn lounge rooms into volcanoes, trees into castles and cardboard boxes into racing cars. If you’ve ever made a cubby in your lounge room, or helped a little one create their own, this is an inspiring and delightful new theatrical experience that you and the whole family will enjoy.

There’s going to be some furniture rearranging and fort building at our house this afternoon!
FoRT is a show from two charismatic performers who celebrate imagination and the magic that can come from building a cubby!
Turning the couch into a car, a broom into a horse, an umbrella into a hot air balloon and chairs into a mountain adventure. This is a nice gentle show for the under 10s where they’ll really get a little bit of everything that Fringe has to offer. Some circus tricks and acrobatics, physical comedy and some laughs. We also loved the clever use of lighting to set a scene. If you’re after a Fringe show for kids that’s not a million miles an hour and something they can sit back and immerse themselves in, this is a good choice.
The air con at The Factory was very much appreciated today too!
