Majors Road Pump Track Official Opening

The City of Marion is holding a free community event on Sunday, 30 July to celebrate the official opening of the Majors Road Pump Track, from 12 pm to 3 pm. The family fun event will have a DJ, food trucks, and riding demonstrations.

The official ceremony will be conducted by Mayor of Marion, Kris Hanna at 12:30pm.

Majors Road Pump Track is a $450,000 City of Marion Project, with a $243,000 funding contribution from the Australian Government through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.

The Majors Road Pump Track is an endless loop with rollers, berms, jumps and transfer options that are designed to be ridden without pedalling. Instead, relying on a pumping motion, pulling up on the face of rollers and pushing down the backside. The berms range from 1m to 1.3m, and have a radius of 4m to 5m.
