With Mother’s Day approaching on Sunday May 11, Minda’s volunteers are once again demonstrating their community spirit, meticulously wrapping gifts with love and care at the popular annual gift wrapping station.
If you’re doing a last-minute dash for mum, ensure you visit the Adelaide Arcade in Rundle Mall on Friday 9 May and Saturday 10 May to save yourself time while supporting a wonderful cause in the process.
Shoppers can have their Mother’s Day wrapped up for a small donation ($4 = one gift, or $10 = three gifts), with all money raised through the initiative going towards Minda and supporting people with intellectual disability.
Minda’s Chief Executive Dr David Panter said every step taken makes meaningful change.
“We believe in making meaningful connections at Minda, and we’re inviting you to connect with our volunteers, who are spreading joy throughout the community,” he said.
“Their dedication to building a more inclusive and compassionate space for everyone is something we cherish. So, if you’re in Adelaide Arcade, whether you need a gift wrapped or just want a friendly chat, come and meet our team. They’re ready to make your gift-giving experience a little brighter.”
The wrapping station is open:
Friday 9 May, 10am-6pm
Saturday 10 May, 10am-5pm
