Penfield Park Railway

Open days are held on the last Sunday of each month, January to November between Noon and 4:30 PM.

Also the second Saturday during October , November , December ,January ,February and March a twilight open day is held from 6:00PM until 9:00 PM.

The Penfield Model Engineers Society (P.M.E.S) was formed with the primary aim of promoting the art of model and experimental engineering. The ride on miniature railway has a total track length of about 1.9km supporting both 7 ¼” and 5” gauge trains.

After leaving the station the railway runs through the outer edge of the park, crosses over itself via a gentle gradient and a steel bridge before passing through a tunnel on its way back to the station.
