Save the Queen! Exclusive screening of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert!

Join the History Trust of South Australia for a dazzling evening at the stunning Art Deco Piccadilly Cinema in North Adelaide, celebrating three fabulous decades of the iconic film that captured hearts worldwide: The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Sunday 8 September marks the 30th Anniversary of the Australian cinematic release of the iconic movie, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

To celebrate the History Trust of South Australia is hosting an exclusive screening, and Q&A with original movie Executive Producer, Rebel Penfold-Russell at Wallis’ Piccadilly Cinema.

Part proceeds of ticket sales will go towards the Save the Queen fundraising campaign to restore the original 1974 Hino Freighter bus AKA Priscilla to fabulous condition and exhibit her in a brilliant interactive exhibition at the National Motor Museum of Australia at Birdwood.

As well as hearing from the movie’s Executive Producer, Rebel Penfold-Russell, ticket holders will enjoy a show with local legend and Priscilla Glambassador Vonni and Drag Artistes from Mary’s Poppin.
