Scoot, skate or ride, It’s the Prospect locals’ time to shine!
The Australian Skate Park League (SPL) is coming to George Whittle Reserve – 56 Churchill Road, Prospect on Saturday 21 January 2023 as part of SA Metro Series.
The Prospect round is part of an interconnected series of skate park events that will be held across South Australia and feature scooter, BMX and skateboard competitions.
The event will provide opportunity for seasoned veterans and young enthusiasts to get involved and showcase their skills. Athletes will compete to be crowned the winner, while those still finding their feet get the opportunity to have a go, hone their skills, interact with the pros and win some cool prizes. In addition, the local community is encouraged to get involved and cheer on their own.
The event will be held from 11am – 3pm
• Scooter competition from 11am
• BMX from 12.30pm
• Skateboarding from 1.30pm
Divisions include 10 years and under, 13 years and under, 16 years and under and open class. Its free to complete, click the link below and select SA Metro Skate Park League 2023 series to register.

Note – Competitors are required to be onsite approximately 1hr prior to competing to confirm their registration and sign in. Competitors are required to provide equipment and safety gear. Some equipment will be on hand for those without.

– Soccer match and skills clinic facilitated by One Culture Football
– Free temporary glitter and airbrush tattoos with Amayzin Airbrush Tattoos
– Prospect and Blair Athol Lions famous BBQ for FREE from 11.45am – 12.30pm
– Stacey’s Craft Adventures selling handmade jewellery and accessories of your 90’s / Y2K dreams
– Bailey from The Young & Restless DJ’s spinning vinyl, think Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 soundtrack
– Garage Records for sale, over 300 titles to browse catering for all music tastes.
Note – No booking is required for basketball and soccer sessions, simply rock up and join in, no fuss.
