The Science Collective returns to Cornerstone College in Mount Barker for the third annual Science Fair with some brand new attractions and plenty of your favourite activities of previous fairs. There will be two three-hour sessions on the day (10.00am-1.00pm and 1.30pm-4.30pm) and each session will have amazing science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session.
Nitro Nat’s Liquid Nitrogen Show is not to be missed, Prof Flint is back with his hilarious sing-a-long Dinosaur show and the Wipe Out Waste Wizard will entertain with his part-magic, part-circus show. SciWorld’s huge inflatable planetarium will take you on a journey through the night sky and IgniteVR will be offering individual virtual reality experiences. There will be a bugs n slugs display and the Roboroos will be there with a come-and-try robotics program. The shows and attractions will be complemented by a day of hands-on science fun with rocket making and launching, pinwheel creations, bridge building, marshmallow and spaghetti tower challenges and an electric circuit challenge.
Hungry? No problems. Lions and Rotary Club members will be there with a BBQ and donuts and there will be a coffee van.
We know that with costs rising in many areas a day out with the family needs to be affordable. So we have actually reduced the cost of tickets for this event with a family ticket available for just $24 (2 + 2 or 1 + 3) and all adults at the children’s price of just $8.
