An hour of picture books and gentle songs on the grass at Thorndon Park, timed to the setting sun.
The books get read first, while the light is still good. Then the guitar comes out and the last twenty minutes are songs in the falling dark, which is where the name comes from. Sunset in Adelaide that night is 6:21pm and the session finishes at 6:30pm.
Haydan Hawkins writes and performs the One More Story books and songs, and Gerry the giraffe comes too. Suited to families with children roughly two to eight years old. Bring a rug, bring a jumper, and if your child has a favourite soft toy, bring that as well.
