Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park to reopen!

Hooray! News we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived today with Adelaide Zoo announcing they will reopen to the public on Monday June 22, 2020 with Monarto Safari Park to follow the week after on June 29.

Here’s what you need to know to plan your visit.

1. All visitors will need to pre-book a date specific ticket to both of the parks ONLINE PRIOR to your visit.
Adelaide Zoo – General admission tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, 17 June 2020 and Zoos SA members will be able to reserve free tickets 24 hours prior.
Monarto Safari Park –  General admission tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, 23 June 2020 and Zoos SA members will be able to reserve free tickets 24 hours prior.

2. Each individual member of your group or family requires a date-specific ticket.

3. Existing Zoos SA memberships have automatically been extended by the duration for which the Zoos were closed.

4. Wild animal experiences will temporarily remain suspended except for Lions 360 at Monarto which will continue at a reduced capacity of one session per day with a limit of 20 people.
