Lions 360 at Monarto Safari Park

Discover, Zoo

Get up close and personal… a lion experience you’ll never forget!

Enjoy a jaw-dropping encounter which gives you a prey’s-eye view into the world of these awe-inspiring predators.

Based on the Shark Cage experience, Monarto Safari Park’s 360-degree lion experience is all about getting YOU right up close and personal with the amazing African Lion.

If you’ve been to Monarto Safari Park before (and if you haven’t THIS is your reason to go) you’ll know the bus ride out to the 10 hectare home of the lions is all part of the adventure. You’ll drive past the giraffes and rhinos and eventually arrive at the lions cage, but this time YOU’LL be the one on the inside!

On our visit today the keepers told us this was an experience for the lions just as much as it was for us humans. The lions were very inquisitive and got a good look at us from ALL angles.  When they say “up close and personal” they really mean it!

Getting up so close to these beautiful African Lions is such an awesome family experience and has been made to be accessible to all. Families with kids of all ages can check out Lions 360 and all the kids in our group absolutely loved it! (Note: please be mindful of your child and their reaction to the experience of being in a cage with a lion close by – it might not suit kids of all ages, particularly if they scare easily.)
You’ll get one hour to take photos, snap a selfie and be amazed by these majestic animals. It really is an experience to remember, and kids will absolutely love it.

Plus there’s also exclusive opportunities to hand feed these majestic lions with the special Lions 360 feed package, enabling you to get even closer!
