Ah yes, it’s that time of year again.. school finishing up.. holidays nearing.. the mad Christmas rush at the shops has begun. Yes, it’s only a month ’till Christmas!! You almost can’t drive anywhere in the neighbourhood at night without the little ones excitedly pointing out some Christmas lights.

The ritual of Adelaiders’ proudly decorating their homes with stunning displays of lights and Christmas scenes just has to be seen and appreciated. Once the sun goes down, our suburban streets are transformed into magical wonderlands. Checking out Adelaide’s Christmas Lights is a fantastic outing for your kids. The warm weather, the longer nights and the excitement of Christmas drawing near means going on a Christmas light adventure is one of the ultimate pre-Christmas family activities.
Watch their little faces light up in excitement as they feel the magic of Christmas.

  • BOOK your 2021 Santas Wonderland tickets here! The Kids in Adelaide team have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of Santa's Wonderland 2021 and we can't wait to join in this year's festivities. Have a read of last year's review and start getting excited because we just know this year, is going to be even more magical! Fair to say we love Santa's Wonderland even more than Christmas lollies and that, my friends is a big call. It's super fun, easy and actually really, really good value! Highlights for our kids aged 5, 8, and 9 years old included the free activity trail, selfie opportunities galore, rides, rides, rides and more rides, and the snow at entry and closing time. My five-year-old still thinks this is the ACTUAL North Pole. Job well done Santa's Wonderland! Most people wonder what on earth would keep them busy for 3 hours - but we could have actually spent longer, it was that entertaining. With three kids in tow on my own, I actually could have used another hour. We missed a few things, so my advice is to chat to your kids about using your time wisely and stick to some type of order…
